Still bittorrenting.....

Am I still bittorenting...... only 60 hours left!!!!! (1.6 GB downloaded, about 5~6 GB uploaded)

Anyway, me and my brothers got about 5-7 lb (lets say about 3-4 kg) of free candy (the best part is that it's free) in 2 hours.... thats pretty good. (I should auction it on ebay!!!)

Well, today we had a bunch of people over. My brother called 4 friends to trick or treat, Adam, Lucas and Danjam (he live 4 houses up, and they all happen to be at Danjam's house) came over, and my mom invited another 2 people. We all ended up playing some poker and monopoly for a few hours, nothing interesting.

BTW, my uncle went back to Canada and my dad went to Brazil today.

As usual, I am not listening to anything :-(. However, I have a quote!!!
A witty saying proves nothing, but saying something pointless gets people's attention.

Uncle in town

My uncle from Canada has been here since Wednesday. He came here for a medical conference, and decided to stay a few days with us. :-)

Other than that, today I went to my aunt's/cousin's Halloween party. It was for kids, so I just stood around and did nothing for about an hour or so.

I also been looking for the old PS2 model. Amazingly, Sony managed to get the old model out of the stores, so I can't find it anywhere. The prices online gone up, mostly because people who want to mod it (like me) prefer the old model. (Why didn't I buy it 2 weeks ago???? :-((( )

For those of you who care (lets see.... no one?), I didn't post yesterday for two reasons: 1. I am (still) downloading my 2.6 GB file of bittorrent at 4 kb/sec and 2. I watched The Exorcist until 12:30.

Today I am listening to Fortune Faded, by Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Well, I am finally posting a link today. Lets see..... why not La historia del mamut?
Its the latest internet hit in Brazil.... however, its all in spanish :-(
(Its about a Mamut doing a bunch of crazy stuff)

BTW, tomorrow is Halloween, so I am getting my crappy skull mask and getting some free candy. Free is *always* better :-)

The random quote of the day is:
"How to make a million dollars: First, get a million dollars." -- Steve Martin

Quick post today

Well, today I am downloading some stuff on Bittorrent, so my internet connection is as slow as it can be possibly be :-(
Well, today I added my del.icio.us sidebar (for those of you who don't know, del.icio.us is a website where I keep all of my bookmarks. I think I have 80 links already... check it out!). It displays the last 10 entries on my del.icio.us system. (I usuallly have a new link everyday). I will try to add some more stuff in the next few days, so check it out!

I didn't listen to anything today, so no music info :-/

The quote(s) of the day is:
"Anything created must necessarily be inferior to the essence of the creator."
-- Claude Shouse
"Einstein's mother must have been one heck of a physicist."
-- Joseph C. Wang

My parent's aniversary...

Well, today something interesting actually happened. Today was my parent's 20th wedding aniversary, so we went to dinner into a Brazilian Restorant (Green Fields) in Rockville. The food wasn't as good as I expected, but it wasn't bad at all.

Other than that, I am really considering buying a PS2 this weekend (while the old model still exists), so I can put a nice Matrix Infinity Modchip, a PS2 High Definion kit, fiber optical cable (5.1 sound), a HDD, wifi, wireless controlers and memory cards. The games... well, lets just say I "borrow" them. :-)

Well, today I am not listening to anything, but I have a cool quote:
Politics -- the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich by promising to protect each from the other. -- Oscar Ameringer

Some stuff and a cool quote

Nothing new happened today, exept that maybe I only got 5 hours of sleep. I had a project that was due today, so I woke up at 5:30 to finish it. But no big deal - I am sure most of you do it all the time :-)

Other than that, my latest project is to configure my brand new NAS - a Linksys NSLU2 with a 80GB hard drive.

Just as a filler (which might come in everyday with my quote!) - I am curently listening to House Music, by Eddie Amador.

Well, for my useless quote, (the name of the blog is Cavalkaf - My random quotes and links, right?), why not have a quote about principals:
"It is important to people to know what you stand for. But it is more important to people to know what you don't stand for."

(People told me have a cool way to end my posts, so here we go - my random quotes and links!)

Another boring day in my life...

So, as most of us expected, nothing happened today. No bombs, no one trying to kill me, nothing. (Well, that is in part a good thing :-) )

Kit, my friend (check his blog out here) made me a challenge (actually, he just said that. He never actually chalenged me). I need to be able to have interesting posts everyday for the next month or so in order to him to read it. Well, Kit, I will not fail!!!

Other than that, I changed the look and theme of the blog, as well as posting a picture of me in Montreal (hey, I am trying to make this decently interesting). I will try to post some more interesting stuff through the next days, so keep reading (or feel my wrath!)

My picture

I was bored, so I posted a picture.

XBox barely sells in Japan

Check out http://www.joystiq.com/entry/7816036482524569/
The M$ Xbox sold a miserable 173 units last week on Japan.

BTW, this is my new blog, where I will post all of my random quotes, links, and facts, and even some actual blog entries when I feel like it (once a year?)

If you read this, comment!!!!!
